ABOUT JULIA

Julia is a 200-hour certified Yoga Teacher and Pilates Instructor with a deep love for movement in all its forms.

 

She is a first-generation Mexican American, and her lived experience deeply informs how she moves through the world and how she teaches. Her Pilates training comes from Balanced Body, and her Yoga foundation was built through Big Power Yoga, a Baptiste-inspired training that emphasizes strength, resilience, and personal transformation.

Movement hasn’t always been a straight path for Julia. As a teenager, she struggled and felt disconnected from herself until discovering yoga - an experience that changed everything. Yoga became the doorway back to her body and her sense of purpose. From there, she found her way into running, CrossFit, and eventually Pilates. Each discipline shaping her understanding of strength, balance, and longevity.

 

​Julia brings a well-rounded, intentional approach to her teaching. She believes movement is a powerful tool for both personal and collective transformation - and that access to movement should be inclusive, empowering, and human centered.

​

Her work is grounded in the belief that strong bodies and liberated communities are deeply connected. She teaches with care, conviction, and a commitment to creating spaces where people feel safe, supported, and powerful.
